Zeiss Super Ikonta 530/2
1933

Carl Zeiss Ikon Super Ikonta 530/2 1933 rangefinder prewar camera medium format the obsolete camera

The 530/2 is the big brother of the 530/1 and was released in 1933, few years before. Mine is one of the earliest specimens according to the serial number. It is very well built like its smaller sister, makes 8 6x9 shots on each roll and includes a mask to make 16 4'5x6 shots. Its focal lengh is higher but its vision angle is a bit narrower. It includes also a built-in self timer, which is very useful when using the tripod.
